Welcome back to the Course Creation Mama podcast! After a refreshing break, I’m back from maternity leave. It’s been an incredible few months, filled with memorable moments and valuable lessons. The Birth Story

Let’s start with the heart of it all—the birth story. Welcoming my baby boy in December 2023 was a beautiful experience, although a tad later than expected. This time around, I chose to do a home birth instead of a hospital birth. Despite the challenges of labor, the home birth was everything I hoped for—a natural, holistic journey that brought a healthy baby boy along with immense joy.

Finding Balance

Balancing newborn care with work has been a learning curve. Transitioning from one child to two has its complexities, but with a supportive family and a prioritization of self-care, we’re navigating this new chapter with grace. I still worked a tiny bit, as it is my creative outlet and hobby, but most of my time was spent with my sweet family.

Lessons Learned

One of the biggest lessons from my maternity leave experience was the art of slowing down. Embracing the present moment and cherishing each stage has been incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about work; it’s about finding balance and being fully present in every aspect of life.

Looking Ahead

As we gear up for the next season of the podcast and business endeavors, I’m excited about the possibilities. Market research during late-night nursing sessions has sparked ideas for new digital products and content directions. Stay tuned for fresh insights and exciting updates in the upcoming season!
