What I Learned at TPT Forward 2026 (and Why I’m More Excited Than Ever About the Future of TPT)

I recently attended my first-ever TPT Forward Conference, and it exceeded every expectation I had.

Not only did I get to meet so many amazing TPT sellers (including members of Teacher Resource Academy!), but I also walked away with pages of notes, fresh ideas, and a renewed excitement about where Teachers Pay Teachers is headed.

TPT Is Investing in Better Search

One of the announcements I’m most excited about is TPT’s upcoming keyword tool.

This tool will give sellers first-party search data directly from Teachers Pay Teachers. In other words, it will be easier to understand exactly what buyers are searching for. Since TPT SEO is different from Google SEO, having access to this information could completely change how sellers optimize their product listings.

If you’ve been following my blog, you know how much I talk about SEO because it truly is one of the most important parts of growing a TPT store. This new tool has the potential to make that process even more effective.

AI Is Changing the Way Teachers Search

Another exciting update was TPT’s focus on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

More and more teachers are using AI tools to search for classroom resources instead of relying only on traditional search engines. TPT is investing in making sure products can be discovered through those AI-powered searches, which is a huge step toward helping sellers stay visible as technology continues to evolve.

Small Improvements Can Make a Big Difference on TPT

TPT also announced a few updates that may seem small but could have a big impact.

Buyers can now check out as guests instead of creating an account before purchasing, reducing one more barrier between finding a resource and completing a sale. They also shared that both teacherspayteachers.com and tpt.com now direct users to the same website, making it even easier for buyers to find the platform.

I Truly Believe that Learning Never Stops

Outside of the official announcements, one of my favorite parts of the conference was simply learning from other sellers.

I attended sessions on AI, freebies, data, product creation, and business growth, and every presenter brought a different perspective. One reminder kept coming up throughout the conference: there isn’t just one way to build a successful TPT business.

The sellers who continue growing are the ones who stay curious, keep learning, and aren’t afraid to try something new.

Will You Attend TPT Forward 2027?

TPT also announced that TPT Forward 2027 will be held in Philadelphia – and yes, I’ve already grabbed my ticket! I’m excited to reconnect with Teacher Resource Academy members, meet more sellers, and continue learning from this incredible community.

Are You Ready to Grow Your TPT Store?

One of the biggest reminders I left the conference with is that success doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from continuing to learn, testing new ideas, and being willing to improve over time.

If you’re ready to build a Teachers Pay Teachers business that generates consistent income, I’d love to help.

In this free training, I’ll walk you through how to choose products teachers are searching for, optimize your listings, and build a profitable TPT store.
