Finding that balance between pursuing your business dreams and tending to family needs can feel like an uphill battle. From Hustle to Harmony
Reflecting on my journey, I recall the hustle of launching my business during pregnancy and navigating the demands of early motherhood. The initial fervor to do it all gradually gave way to a more structured and intentional approach.
Now in this new season of life, with a preschooler and a newborn, my work schedule revolves around pockets of focused time. Mondays and Wednesdays are dedicated workdays, strategically aligned with preschool hours and family support. This intentional allocation of time allows me to maximize productivity while prioritizing family moments.
Leveraging Systems and Support
Building systems and delegating tasks to my team have been game-changers this last year. Automating processes and setting up an evergreen funnel ensured a steady income stream during my maternity leave and allowed me to take a step back from my business while being confident that everything was still running smoothly.
The Power of Intentionality
Amidst the busyness, I’m intentional about self-care, health, and cherishing family time. Balancing work commitments with moments of rest, walks, and family bonding fuels my overall well-being. It was important to me to focus on being present with my kids this year. Since I work from home and often work from my phone, it is easy to get distracted with work. Because of my hustle in the early days of my business, I can now take Fridays-Sundays off and be even more intentional with my time.
