5 Free Geometry Lessons

Hey there! I’m so excited to give you 5 free high school geometry lessons!

If you’re new here, I’m Lindsay Bowden. I was a high school geometry teacher for 8 years. Now, I am a full-time math resource creator! It’s nice to meet you!

Why free geometry lessons?

Like I said above, I was a high school geometry teacher for 8 years.

During that time, I struggled to find resources for my classroom. I had no textbook and limited worksheets.

I spent hours trying to find resources that fit the needs of my students.

So, I started creating my own! Before I knew it, I had created an entire Geometry curriculum!

I started sharing these resources with my coworkers, and they used them in their classroom, too! I knew I needed to share these resources with teachers outside of my school.

What free geometry lessons will I receive?

You will receive 5 high school geometry lessons over 5 days. Here are the lessons:

Lesson 1: Parts of a Circle

This lesson has guided notes and worksheets on the parts of a circle and how to prove that all circles are similar.

Lesson 2: Parts of a Circle Card Sort

This lesson includes a fun and interactive activity! Students will be given a set of cards with words, definitions, and pictures. They have to match the correct part of a circle term with its definition and picture.

I put students into groups and make this a competition. The groups that finishes the fastest gets candy!

Lesson 3: Central and Inscribed Angles.

This lesson has notes and worksheets on central angles and inscribed angles of a circle.

Lesson 4: Vertex Inside and Vertex Outside Angles

Lesson 4 has notes and worksheets on angles with the vertex inside the circle and outside the circle. It also includes a review worksheet that covers all four angle types.

Lesson 5: Quiz

The final lesson will include a quiz parts of a circle and circle angles. All answer keys are included for every lesson!

What's the catch?

You may be thinking, “Ok…what’s the catch? There’s no way this lady is just sending free stuff!”

If that’s you, I like you already. I’m the same way!

But here’s the truth: I love helping teachers.

I create resources because I know what it’s like to be desperate for resources.

I’ll be sharing with you some of my other resources from my Teachers Pay Teachers store, but no pressure!

Alright, enough with the small talk! Let’s get those free lessons into your inbox!
